Retreat Center Campaign

Campaign Vision

A dedicated sanctuary for grief, healing, and meaningful connection.

The Retreat Center extends The Coco Project’s mission into a physical sanctuary in the Pacific Northwest. Families will encounter compassionate hospitality, restorative surroundings, and evidence-based, trauma-informed support as they remember, reconnect, and begin imagining hope again.

Why this campaign matters

This campaign is designed not only to fund construction, but to build an enduring resource — one that pairs immediate care for families with responsible stewardship for generations to come.

We embrace an ethical farm-to-table model, sourcing seasonal ingredients from local farms that prioritize humane practices and environmental care. By supporting regional producers and sustainable agriculture, we nourish families with food that is fresh, restorative, and deeply connected to the land—while investing in the long-term health of our community and environment.

Why philanthropy matters

Where generosity becomes healing.

Trauma-informed care

Families are welcomed into safe, predictable, and affirming environments designed to honor lived experience and support meaningful healing.

Family-centered restoration

Private suites, gathering spaces, and nature-based experiences give families room to rest, reconnect, and feel supported together.

Grief-affirming support

The retreat center honors grief with compassion, dignity, remembrance, and practices that make space for both sorrow and hope.

Mission stewardship and long-term impact

Every philanthropic investment helps create a sustainable resource prepared to serve families for years to come.
